High Deductible?

Simplicity Health Was Built For You.

Break your health insurance addiction.

The yearly costs with the traditional model of healthcare really add up quickly and rarely do patients meet their deductible. That equates to out-of-pocket expense. If you spend $4,000 towards a $5,000 deductible, what good did your health insurance do that year?

We aim to radically lower that out-of-pocket cost (see our pricing of our labs and pharmacy). BUT, if you do happen to hit your deductible in a particular year, we can absolutely utilize your insurance for all subsequent healthcare costs that follow.

Not convinced?

Imagine getting a bout of dizziness (or insert any other symptom of your choosing) at 11 PM on a Saturday night. Could this be a stroke? Is it vertigo? Why am I feeling off balance?

In the example shown, you can see the Simplicity Health DPC difference.

Re-think your health insurance

We encourage you to think of your health insurance like auto insurance. You pay a premium every month, but hopefully you never need to use it. You pay out of pocket for things like oil changes, brakes, new tires, etc. You carry the insurance in case something catastrophic would happen.

We think health insurance can be applied the same way. If we lower the price of labs, imaging, medication, etc by 90-95% - then healthcare becomes affordable. We can get all of your labs cheaper than the price of a new set of windshield wipers! Literally. We aren’t joking.

What happens to my insurance?

IMPORTANT: If we find that it is cheaper for you to get a test or medication using insurance, we still have that option. If we find that it is more cost-effective to find cash prices outside of insurance, we have that option, too. We will lay out the options for you and you get to choose. Nothing happens to your insurance and your insurance coverage. You can still use your insurance if you would be hospitalized or we find it is cheaper to get a test or medication through insurance. We are simply functioning outside of insurance in our particular practice.

Health share companies such as Zion Health, Altrua or Sedera also pair wonderfully with Direct Primary Care. Some of these companies even offer discounts for seeing a DPC doctor!
