In-House Pharmacy

Your prescriptions. Filled here. Priced honestly.

Most medications cost a fraction of retail. You leave your visit holding them.

How it works

Three steps. No second stop.

What it looks like when your prescription stays inside the practice.

i.

Your doctor prescribes

During your visit, your physician determines the right medication and dose. Because they have the time to actually talk it through, you understand why you're taking it.

ii.

We dispense it here

If we stock it, we fill it on-site from our in-house pharmacy stock. No call-in to a retail pharmacy. No drive across town. No waiting in a chain pharmacy line.

iii.

You leave with it

Walk out of your appointment holding the prescription you need. Pay member pricing, in full, with no insurance claim and no surprise bill weeks later.

How we keep it cheap

We skip the middlemen. The savings come back to you.

Retail pharmacy pricing isn't expensive because medication is expensive. It's expensive because there are too many people between you and the medication.

No insurance billing

We don't submit claims, negotiate coverage tiers, or chase denials. That overhead never enters the price you pay. Many common generics that retail for $40 to $80 a month cost a few dollars through our pharmacy.

No pharmacy benefit managers

PBMs are the invisible middlemen between manufacturers, pharmacies, and insurers. They take a cut on nearly every prescription filled at a retail chain. We don't use one, so there's no cut to take.

Wholesale generics, small handling fee

We buy high-quality generic medications at wholesale prices, then dispense them to members at our cost plus a small handling fee. No retail margin. No upcharge.

Honest about exceptions

Brand-name and specialty medications can still cost real money. While a drug is under patent, no generic alternative is legally available. These are typically the prescriptions worth running through your insurance, and we'll help you do that or apply for manufacturer assistance when relevant.

The result is that for most members, the monthly savings on prescriptions cover a meaningful portion of the membership fee on their own.

Beyond the Pharmacy

Your medications are part of a bigger picture.

See full-year savings across medications, labs, imaging, and visits — not just prescriptions — in our cost calculator. The pharmacy savings shown on this page are real, but they're only one slice of what membership covers.

An actual member

One member's monthly prescriptions, side by side.

This is a real comparison from an actual member, showing what they pay through our pharmacy versus what they would pay using GoodRx, already one of the cheapest cash-pay options in retail pharmacy.

Beating GoodRx isn't easy, because GoodRx already strips out most of the insurance middleman markup. We do it because we strip out the rest.

What's available

What we keep on hand. And what we don't.

Common questions

About the pharmacy.

Can non-members use the pharmacy?

The in-house pharmacy is a benefit of membership. The pricing we offer is only sustainable when paired with the membership model, which is what removes the insurance and billing overhead in the first place.

Can I use my insurance with your pharmacy?

No. Member pharmacy pricing is cash-pay only. The whole reason the prices are this low is that we don't bill insurance or work through pharmacy benefit managers. If you'd rather use your insurance for a particular medication, your physician can send the prescription to your outside pharmacy of choice instead.

What if you don't carry my medication?

Ask. We can often order medications that aren't part of our regular stock, and we'll quote you the price up front so there are no surprises. For medications we genuinely cannot source affordably, your physician will help you find the best path elsewhere, whether that's GoodRx, a manufacturer assistance program, or your insurance.

Will my prescription count toward my insurance deductible?

No. Because we don't bill insurance, prescription costs paid through our pharmacy don't go toward your deductible or out-of-pocket maximum. For most patients, the savings on medication itself outweigh the deductible impact, but it's worth thinking through if you're on a high-cost specialty medication or a plan where you're close to meeting your out-of-pocket max.

Can my whole family fill prescriptions here?

Yes, for any family member who is a Simplicity Health patient. Many of our families pick up the entire household's monthly medications in a single visit.

Do you offer brand-name medications?

We focus on high-quality generics, which is where the dramatic savings live. If you have a specific medical reason to be on a brand-name medication, talk to your physician about whether ordering it through our pharmacy or your outside pharmacy makes more sense for that prescription.

Your Next Step

The pharmacy is one piece. Come see the rest.

Pharmacy savings are real, and for most members they cover a meaningful share of the membership fee. But the bigger story is what happens when your doctor has the time, the tools, and the relationship to actually take care of you. A free meet & greet is the shortest path to seeing whether the model fits.
